Dina Paul is a retired clinical social worker who spent more than thirty years in child welfare, psychiatric crisis work, and nursing homes. Her writing attends to rooms, records, ordinary objects — a towel folded on a bed — and the private consequences of public systems. Her first book, The Room They Gave Me: A Memoir of Care, is complete and on submission.
